I had the strangest dream. The strangest part is that I don’t remember it. I woke up with such an odd feeling, that I immediately ate some crackers. I then got dressed and headed out for a walk. I walked all around the city. I saw a woman wearing the ugliest coat I had ever seen, which I soon realized looked just like my favorite sweater. She was walking a dog. It was a lovely dog, with great big paws and a luscious coat of fur. A St Bernard, I think. I saw them for a single moment, and that dog was the beautiful one I had seen thus far. Anyway, I kept walking, and I passed by a flower shop. I strolled in, and a small bell announced my arrival. There was a handsome man behind the counter, and he greeted me with a polite nod. I smiled back and turned to look at his arrangements. They were quite lovely, especially the Golden-rayed Lilies, which are my favorite. They were on sale, so I decided to take them with me on my little adventure. There was a small cafe a few doors down. I stopped and bought a sandwich, some crisps, and a bottle of wine and a glass. When I exited the building, I saw a rose colored basket, perfect for picnicking. I cleaned it up a bit, then filled it with my goods. How fortunate of me, to find a basket in my favorite color. As I strolled through the city, I came upon a market place. I found a fruit vendor, and inspected her strawberries. The were plump and round, and a stunning shade of red. They looked irresistible, but I had no money. I offered to trade my flowers for the strawberries, jokingly of course, but the vendor agreed. I was pleasantly surprised as I watched her gently pack the fruit. I thanked and she laughed. I laughed as well and took my leave, heading towards the park. I found a nice secluded hill top, where I had my lunch and people watched. All in all, I would say that I’ve had such a wondrous morning. -Oscar
